The 7th edition of the Piedmont Oktoberfest takes place today

The seventh annual Piedmont Oktoberfest will take place today, October 8, from 5 p.m. to 11 p.m. at The Shoppes at Piedmont, 1265 S. Cotner Blvd.

The annual festival will feature live music from the B Street Band, several food vendors including The Parthenon, Skymart and Freddie Lee Wurst, and fun competitions throughout the night to win dozens of prizes.

You can sample different beers from local, national and international breweries including Ayinger, Backswing, Zipline, Founders, Hoffbrau and 13 others.

Tickets are available at Basic beer packages start at $33 and include event access, free entry to competitions, and three beer tickets for all available domestic and US craft beers. VIP tickets include access to the event, free entry to all competitions, entry into the raffle for free stays at The Residence Inn by Marriott, a personalized koozie and three valid beer tickets for all domestic and imported beers.
